Back to School! Store

NCJW STL section’s signature community service project is the Back to School! Store, a one day event held every July that provides new clothing, school supplies and books to over 1500 underserved children so that they can start the school year confident and ready to learn and remain successful throughout the year. It costs around $180,000 to run the Back to School! Store each year. While NCJW STL receives grants, sponsorships and donations to help fund the project, a large portion of the cost is funded from TheResaleShop’s sales.

NCJW | MI Section’s many community service programs include a heartwarming Kosher Meals on Wheels that serves
over 20,000 meals per year in partnership with Jewish Family Service and Jewish Senior Life.

Building disability awareness

The National Council of Jewish Women – Peninsula Section is passionate about advocacy and community service for individuals with disabilities.
