More Ways to Give
Credit Card
The fastest way to make a gift to NCJW is to give online. Credit card information is secure, and donors receive instant confirmation that NCJW has received their gift.
Gift types include:
- One-Time Gift
- Monthly Gifts, which will be a recurring charge each month.
- Tribute Gift, a contribution in honor or memory of someone. The honoree receives a card letting them know of the gift given in their name.

Donor Advised Fund
Recommend a gift to NCJW from a donor-advised fund. Ask the Gift Officer or your representative to email NCJW Development at development@ncjw.org before sending the gift so the NCJW Finance and Development staff may anticipate the arrival of this gift with the following information:
- Donor Name
- Intended Purpose, if the donation is for a specific fund or campaign
Matching Gift
Check with your company to see if they offer workplace matching gifts. If they do, you could double and sometimes even triple your gift with NCJW. Please email development@ncjw.org if your company needs any gift verification to send in a matching gift.
Appreciated Securities
Donating appreciated assets can offer significant tax advantages. Donations of appreciated, publicly traded securities are one of the most tax-wise methods. The most common forms of these assets are shares of stock, bonds, and mutual funds. For more information about transferring appreciated assets, click below:
Make a Pledge
Put in writing the amount you plan to give during a fiscal year (July 1 to July 30). NCJW will send reminders in the spring, leading up to the end of the fiscal year on June 30th. One cannot pledge donations through donor-advised funds. An email or written notification may be sent to staff or a member of the Board of Trustees.
IRA Contribution
Annual withdrawals from traditional retirement accounts are required after age 70½, and the penalty for skipping a required minimum distribution is 50 percent of the amount that should have been withdrawn. By donating money from your IRA directly to NCJW, you can avoid income tax on required withdrawals.
Life Insurance Beneficiary
Gifts of life insurance are as simple as naming NCJW Inc. as a beneficiary of a new or existing policy. Life insurance policies can have multiple beneficiaries. This gift is very straightforward, and NCJW will receive funds immediately upon termination of the policy.
Please email to NCJW Development at development@ncjw.org so we may keep a record of this gift in your donor record with the following information:
- Life Insurance Company Name
- Life Insurance Company Address and Phone Number
- Donor Name
- Intended Purpose, if the donation is for a specific fund or campaign
Planned Gift
Consider making a donation using estate planning tools. Your contribution may offer important estate tax benefits and attractive income benefits for you or your heirs, while establishing a lasting personal legacy. If you make a planned gift to NCJW, Inc., you will be recognized as a member of The Legacy Society. Please email NCJW Development at development@ncjw.org for more information.
