Start an NCJW Action Team in your community

Were you part of an NCJW section that has closed down? Is there no NCJW section in your community? Was your mother or grandmother a daring and outspoken NCJW advocate and you’re looking for an opportunity to continue her legacy? Then this opportunity to continue NCJW’s 125 years of action is for you!

We’re so excited to announce NCJW’s new Action Teams! Applications to become a team co-lead are now open.

What’s an action team and what do they do?
Action teams are an opportunity in communities without an NCJW section for NCJW members at large and volunteers to come together and act as progressive changemakers. They will organize, advocate, and educate on civic engagement, federal courts, and reproductive health, rights, and justice.

Who runs the action teams?
At least two co-leads will coordinate each action team. The co-leads will organize a team of NCJW members and volunteers to build power, impact policy, and advocate for justice. Co-leads will participate in a comprehensive training program and receive staff support. Applications are now open — become a team lead today!
