Through the efforts of our 225,000 grassroots advocates and 49 local sections, NCJW combines education, direct service, and advocacy to affect lasting social change at the local, state, and national levels.

Who We Are

NCJW is the oldest Jewish, feminist civil rights organization working to improve the quality of life  for women, children and families in the U.S. and Israel.  Our NCJW’s headquarters is located in Washington, D.C., Guided by the principle “Justice, Justice Shall You Pursue,” we combine education, advocacy, and community service to drive social change. For over a century, NCJW has championed this change through bold action, compassionate service, and a deep commitment to equity and justice. Our work addresses critical issues such as reproductive freedom, voting rights, gender equality, and economic justice, ensuring a better, more equitable future for all.

Our Work

We anticipate opportunities across a range of teams, including:

  • Marketing & Communications: Shape narratives, engage diverse audiences, and build awareness through strategic campaigns, digital media, press relations, and storytelling
  • Fundraising & Development: Cultivate relationships, develop fundraising campaigns, and build resources that sustain NCJW’s critical work
  • Leadership Development & Organizing: Mobilize grassroots advocates, strengthen leadership pipelines, and drive community engagement
  • Government & Political Affairs: Influence policy, advocate for legislative priorities, and represent NCJW’s values in the public arena
  • Partnerships & Programs:  Deepen connections and partnerships across all areas of our work to expand our impact.
