Next week, NCJW’s own Marlene Hammerman will be honored, alongside 9 other women, as a ‘2017 Woman of Achievement’ in the St. Louis Community. Through her 35 years at NCJW-St. Louis, “Hammerman has engaged legislators on issues relating to reproductive justice, domestic violence, gun violence protection, immigration reform, voting rights, trafficking, LGBT rights, health care and separation of religion and state.”
