We are coming upon the two-year mark since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade and took away the constitutional right to abortion with their ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. This decision not only abandoned almost 50 years of precedent but instantly paved the way for states to ban abortion.

We invite you to join National Council of Jewish Women on Monday, June 24 from 1–1:30 pm ET / 10–10:30 am PT to pause on the anniversary of the overturning of Roe to honor those who lost access to abortion within the last two years, those who lost access long before Roe fell, and those who have endured inequities and injustice as they sought reproductive care. In Judaism, it is customary to mark time together, as we mourn, remember, and honor all that has been lost.  We will join together as a community virtually to honor this moment.
