A Moral Response to an Immoral Budget: Jewish Day of Action

WHEN
August 5, 2025
WHERE
Virtual
Join NCJW in person and virtually across the country on August 5 for A Moral Response to an Immoral Budget: Jewish Day of Action.
While members of Congress are home for August recess, we’ll show up strong as a Jewish community to thank those who stood with us during the recent budget fight, express our deep disappointment to those who didn’t, and urge all lawmakers to show us they care about women, children, and families by using the funding process when they get back to Washington to make serious investments in our communities. As the budget law is enacted, we will not stand by while millions of people go hungry or without health care.
We are proud to sponsor this Jewish Day of Action with MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger and Network of Jewish Human Service Agencies. We will share a toolkit, information about scheduling in-district meetings, and more soon!
Sign up to participate in our Day of Action and we’ll send you information on taking action with us.
