As the world marks International Women’s Day, join NCJW, Hadassah Foundation, and the JFN Gender Giving Forum for a timely briefing with Israeli feminist leaders working on the frontlines of civil society.
As Israelis once again navigate war, stress, and uncertainty, the importance of women’s leadership in shaping national response and recovery has never been clearer. War impacts women and girls in distinct ways — economically, physically, and emotionally — yet women remain vastly underrepresented in decision-making about security, policy, and the future.
Israeli feminist organizations are responding in real time: supporting women and girls at risk, ensuring women can access their rights during wartime, and preparing for the day after.
During this briefing, leaders and funders from across Israel’s feminist civil society will share the urgent challenges emerging from the current conflict and present a collaborative roadmap developed by more than 30 organizations through NCJW’s Connecting for Impact initiative — outlining pathways to ensure women will be equal partners in shaping Israel’s future.
