The Israel Granting Program

For decades, NCJW advocates and sections have invested directly in Israel’s feminist movement through the Israel Granting Program (IGP). Since the late 1990s, IGP has directed millions of dollars to Israeli organizations advancing the rights, safety, and leadership of women and girls — helping build a stronger feminist ecosystem from the ground up.
Your impact
After October 7, NCJW advocates responded immediately through an IGP emergency appeal, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to ensure that an early philanthropic response to the war was built specifically around a gender lens.
Today, we’re building on that response by investing not only in individual organizations, but in the strength of Israel’s feminist movement as a whole. Through Connecting for Impact (CFI), NCJW brings feminist leaders together to develop shared strategies, build organizational capacity, and turn collaboration into action at a scale no single organization could achieve alone.
Your IGP gift helps move that work from vision to reality. In the last round of grants awarded in spring 2026, IGP funded “In Her Shoes,” a new immersive training center created by four leading organizations to transform how professionals across Israel respond to at-risk women and girls experiencing trauma. The initiative grew out of CFI’s collaborative model and is designed to build lasting change across Israel’s public systems. You can view prior recipients here.
