On September 5, President Trump announced the end of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA. As a result, more than 800 Dreamers, young immigrants brought to the US as children, lose their legal status every week, leaving them vulnerable to deportation. The Dream Act (S 1615/HR 3440) would provide a path to citizenship for these young individuals, enabling them to continue to thrive in the United States. Congress must pass a clean Dream Act today, free of harmful policies that would increase enforcement, detention, and deportation of Dreamers’ families and communities.

Hi, my name is [X] and I am a National Council of Jewish Women activist from [city, state]. My Jewish values teach that we are all worthy of safety and opportunity regardless of immigration status. I support Dreamers and urge the Senator/Representative to do everything in his/her power to protect these young individuals from deportation by passing a clean Dream Act, S 1615 and HR 3440, free of harmful anti-immigration policies. Dreamers cannot wait any longer – I urge you to pass the Dream Act today.
