Condemn Police Brutality

On May 29, on the heels of the brutal murder of George Floyd, Reps. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) and Ilhan Omar (D-MN) introduced H. Res. 988, condemning police brutality, racial profiling, and excessive use of force. The resolution also calls for:

  • Improving police oversight;
  • The Department of Justice (DOJ) investigating racial profiling, police brutality, and violence;
  • Adopting sound and unbiased law enforcement policies at all levels of government.

Now more than ever we must be in solidarity with communities of color and the movement for Black lives.
