Apply for BenchMark Spokesperson Training in Washington, DC!

Since 2001, BenchMark: NCJW’s Judicial Nominations Campaign has raised public awareness about the importance of the federal judiciary and the judges who are confirmed to lifetime seats. NCJW leaders have educated their communities about the need for a federal judiciary that is diverse, qualified, and independent. With the 2020 Election already underway, we are looking to amplify this message through a cadre of specially trained NCJW spokespeople. Here’s your chance to step up and educate your communities—voters and others—about this critical issue.

From November 17-18, 2019, NCJW will hold an intensive spokesperson training in Washington, DC, led by Jennifer Farmer, an expert trainer who has worked with leaders such as Rev. Dr. William Barber and Michelle Obama.

This free training opportunity is open to a limited number. Hotel and meals are provided; travel subsidies are available. You do not need to be an expert on the federal judiciary to apply. If you are interested, please fill out and submit the application by August 28 to Caroline Ostro at costro@ncjw.org. Additionally, please provide one letter of recommendation, preferably from an NCJW section leader or SPA, via email to Caroline.
