The NCJW Women Studies Forum frequently hosts international scholars to speak and lead workshops on the history of women and feminism. These important opportunities allow Israeli scholars and students to hear about the intellectual work done around the world and for international scholars to learn about current issues facing women in Israeli society.

Recent lectures:

December 5, 2003 -- Avirama Golan, columnist, Haaretz: The personal experience of a woman journalist

January 2, 2004 -- Michal Heiman, mixed media artist and photographer: A perspective on Israeli history, social structure, and experience interpreted through a feminist point of view.

March 30, 2004 -- Erela Lamdan, Achva College of Education: Motherhood in the Kubbutzim.
