NCJW Salutes Israel on 60th Anniversary

May 8, 2008, Washington, DC -- In recognition of Israel's 60th Anniversary, NCJW President Nancy Ratzan issued the following statement:

"The National Council of Jewish Women salutes Israel on its 60th anniversary. This is a great milestone, and we are proud to be a long-standing partner with Israel in contributing to its democracy and the well-being of its people through our work. We hope that this 60th year will bring peace to Israel and its neighbors."

The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action.
