Distance Learning Call: Bring Your Workplace to Higher Ground
Having and keeping a good job is key to achieving and maintaining economic security. However, domestic violence can undermine a woman’s ability to succeed in the workplace. Attendance, productivity, health, and safety can all be undermined by domestic violence and too often employers don’t have the tools they need to provide appropriate support to employees in trouble.
On October 27, NCJW hosted a Distance Learning Call with NCJW President Linda Slucker to learn about domestic violence in the workplace from our featured guest Maya Raghu of Futures Without Violence. In addition, Emily Alfano provided tools to most effectively educate others about the importance of the a safe, secure, and productive workplace for victims of domestic violence.
